These curriculum options can be utilized as both core and supplemental options that provide for learning that is accessible by students, parents, and HSTs.

  • All subjects are project-based and follow the PLUS model: Project, Learn, Use, Show.
  • Each subject has 3 – 4 projects throughout the year (not within every unit or lesson).
  • Guided instruction — suggested daily schedules, clear objectives, teaching notes, and full support for the Learning Coach.
  • Instructional Services (grading and feedback) are available in grades K-5.

  • Dynamic and engaging curriculum designed for 4-5 year olds (TK students).
  • Offers over 800 fun, safe, and easy to use games and activities from math, language arts, science, history, art, and music.
  • The EmbarK12 curriculum provides students with engaging, adaptable lessons that incorporate technology and hands-on components. The lessons are delivered through the user-friendly Online School (OLS) platform, allowing students to access the entire year's coursework wherever there is internet, manage their weekly schedules, and monitor progress. K12 comes with online and offline lesson delivery, including books and manipulatives.

  • Core x 4 plus grade level art, music, or PE electives available.
  • A complete hybrid teaching curriculum. Thematic units are incorporated into math, science, reading, writing, and social studies.
  • Lincoln Learning combines multimedia with comprehensive hands-on kits for learning materials and suggested activities.
  • Courses are presented as online and offline with pre-recorded “Teach-It” videos, cartoon type teacher figures reading aloud through the instructional text (Read Its).

NetTutor

  • A-G and Non A-G electives.
  • 18 weeks course with Edgenuity Instructor.
  • Web-based interactive curriculum.
  • Direct-instruction videos from expert teachers with multimedia & interactive learning tools.
  • Each lesson is accompanied by a video; video-based lessons comprise the majority of the Edgenuity Instruction.
  • Most units require the student submit typed responses to specific assignments.
  • Edgenuity does not have or require group discussions.
  • Assessments are typically unlocked by the Edgenuity instructors, once they complete the teacher review.
  • Rigorous and engaging curriculum aligned with Common Core and California State Standards and Next Generation Science Standards.
  • Online platform provides a built-in “text-to-speech” in many different languages.

EdOptions Academy by Edmentum w/HQT

EdOptions Academy by Edmentum w/HQT

  • A-G, AP, NCAA.
  • A-G and Non A-G electives.
  • EdOptions Academy offers live synchronous lessons for intervention only 2 x per week for core classes. Attendance for these are not required and they will be recorded for viewing at a later time.
  • All texts are embedded into the course.
  • Days/times for the live lessons are messaged to the student in the instructor’s welcome letter.
  • Students are encouraged to use the internal course Notebook for taking notes throughout the course. These notes will prove valuable when students. complete their assessments and final exam.
  • Content experts are available in office hours M-F from 6am-3pm PST daily. An appointment can be made and may prove to be helpful but isn't required. If content experts are not already helping another student, they are available for 1-1 support.
  • Learning coaches and HSTs have progress monitoring access to student accounts at all times.

eDynamic Learning
