GMCS is committed to equip students with 21st-century learning opportunities, strengthen the whole child to transcend obstacles and become life-long learners, empower families to propel students toward college and career readiness, and anchor them with community by cultivating relationships.

GMCS high school students complete courses based on graduation requirements and their post secondary goals. A student’s course selection is based on their individual, academic, career, and personal interests. Identifying the targeted goal for after high school will assist in developing a plan that is most catered to your student’s own interests and will assist him/her in meeting those goals.

Please note that although high school course schedules are designed to meet the UC and Cal State’s a-g course requirements, some college admission requirements can vary and it is recommended that students contact their school of choice prior to applying so as to ensure they meet the admission requirements. It is also recommended that this discussion takes place early on in a student’s educational journey to ensure the appropriate courses are taken to meet the specific university’s requirements.

Please reach out to your High School Counselor to inquire about graduation requirements and/or college admissions.
